Made in small batches by Géraud Arbeau, the fifth generation of his family to make wine – this is a classic Bordeaux blend. Here the Merlot shows-off softer notes of fruits, spices & ripeness, while the Cabernet Sauvignon provides a powerful structure and deep flavours.
Grape blends – 60 % Merlot, 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes:
Dark fruits, vanilla, coffee, spice and liquorice on the nose, with plum, blackcurrant, dark cherry & cassis following through on the palate. This wine is concentrated, powerful &firm, yet the tannins are soft and well- integrated. Long on the finish.
Perfect to sip on its own, it also pairs beautifully with hearty barbeques, rich paneer & red meat dishes, or with cheese at the end of a long evening!
Served best at 16 – 17℃
